As a part of the FM Global Group, Affiliated FM's clients and broker partners have access to an international network of 1,800 property loss prevention engineers. These engineers have local expertise of the industries in their territory and help clients identify and understand the unique property hazards to their business.

Once the exposures have been identified, the engineer helps the client achieve risk improvement by working with the local personnel to implement cost effective strategies that help lower the overall cost of risk.

At the conclusion of each engineering visit, the local engineer will produce a risk report with the findings and recommendations to eliminate or reduce the hazards present. The engineer will review the report with local personnel and work to develop an action plan. Reports for all locations visited are available to the broker and corporate client.
